SETEFILLA
100×70 cm.
Mixed painting technique on board.
“Dedicated to tradition, devotion, and the natural environment. The equestrian scene opens up onto the landscape, where the horizon line culminates in the mountain where the chapel stands. Wildflowers replace the previous ones, closing the visual path. The polka dots from Lora accompany the path to the chapel. The sky-blue lantern, the color of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of Setefilla, symbolizes the deepest sense of unity and devotion that concludes the work.”
The posters for the 2026 festivals of Lora del Río and its districts stem from a profound and shared idea: brotherhood. Not as an abstract concept, but as a living sentiment that unites our people, our streets, and our traditions. Each poster tells its own story. Within them dwell the gestures, colors, and symbols that make each festival unique. Yet, at the same time, they all share something essential: an invisible connection that intertwines them, as if each image whispered to the next and echoed the one before. The shapes, tones, and elements travel from one poster to another, transforming without losing their essence, building a silent dialogue that speaks of closeness, of common roots, of shared celebration. Thus, what appear to be four independent works are revealed, in reality, as a single narrative.
